METHOD FOR GROWING AND CULTURING LATERAL BUD OF PLANT BELONGING TO GENUS ROSA

PURPOSE:To sufficiently grow lateral buds of a plant belonging to the genus Rosa and form a shoot of a required size by culturing the separated lateral buds, etc., of the plant belonging to the genus Rosa in a liquid culture medium containing cytokinin with aeration. CONSTITUTION:Separated lateral buds or tissual pieces containing the lateral buds of a plant belonging to the genus Rosa are grown in a liquid culture medium containing cytokinin (preferably benzyladenine) in preferably 10<-7>-10<-5>M/l concentration with aeration to grow the lateral buds.
