<p>The table comprises a square frame (1) across which a flexible web is stretched and in which at least one freely rotatable element is contained, so that it rotates about an axis (9) parallel to one of the frame sides beneath this web. This element is moved backwards and forwards transverse to its axis by a reciprocating drive (5,6). Pref. the two longer sides of the frame each have a guide rail along which a carriage (4) moves under control of the reciprocating drive, comprising a reversible electric motor (5) coupled to a drive spindle (6). Two groups of rollers are attached to the carriage by spring arms (10), the rollers (8) of each group lying coaxially with their axes parallel to the shorter sides of the frame.</p>
