PURPOSE:To improve environmental resistance and reliability by laminating a dielectric layer, optical recording layer and protective layer on a transparent plastic substrate and specifically forming the dielectric layer and the protective layer. CONSTITUTION:The dielectric layer 2 is formed on the transparent plastic substrate 1 and a 1st protective layer 3 is provided on the dielectric layer 2. The magneto-optical recording layer 4 is formed on the protective layer 3. Further, the inorg. protective layer 5 and org. protective layer 6 consisting of plural layer films are successively formed on the recording layer 4. The dielectric layer 2 is formed of a dielectric oxide of an In metal and Sn metal having >=1X10<-1>OMEGA.cm electric resistivity. The inorg. protective layer 5 is formed of a Ti film and the oxide of In or Sn and the org. protective layer 6 is formed of a UV curing resin mainly consisting of phenolic novolak epoxy acrylate having 200-500mol.wt. per acryloyl group. Further, the Ti film is formed on the protective layer 3. The environmental resistance and reliability are thus improved. |
