In hitherto known bearing arrangements for crankshafts in a tunnel housing of a reciprocating-piston machine, the noise generated by the exciting forces of the reciprocating-piston machine pass unhindered into the noise-emitting outer surfaces of the reciprocating-piston machine. In order to increase the resistance to the transmission of noise between the exciting forces of the reciprocating-piston machine and the noise-emitting outer surfaces of the said machine, a groove (11) is provided on the outer circumference of a bearing body (4a, 4b) in the region of the main bearing of the crankshaft (1) of the machine. From this groove, lubricating oil penetrates into a gap between the bearing body (4a, 4b) and the tunnel housing (2). <IMAGE>
