The frames intended for fair stands have transverse beams with hook-shaped suspension members which are suspended in slots of columns. The suspension parts are arranged positively on wall sections and secured by securing members. The novel frame exists to exhibit greater stability and torsional rigidity. In order to achieve a strong frictional connection between the column and the transverse beam, the transverse beam is radially braced with respect to the column. The frame is suitable even in the case of large loads and stresses, hence the suspension members of the transverse beams which establish the positive-locking connection to the column are also considerably relieved and exposed only to a small amount of wear.
