In a push-out apparatus for a stacking device for printed products or the like, having a vertically extending push-out means which can be displaced approximately linearly horizontally in the work-cycle rhythm of the assigned stacking device or the like, in order to achieve a drive which is simple, smooth and operates without problems at high clock frequencies, it is provided that the push-out means (20) is fastened in the peripheral region of a planet wheel (16), the planet wheel (16) being arranged rotatably on a rotatably driven planet arm (12) which is rotatable about a sun wheel (11) and coaxially with the said sun wheel (11) which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner on a basic frame (7), and the sun wheel (11) and the planet wheel (16) being in drive connection via a transmission belt (17) wrapped around them, a link belt, a chain or the like or via a transmission. <IMAGE>
