PURPOSE:To output only data necessary for an output destination by inputting the data necessary for a card transaction and selecting the output destination of a processing result according to the content of a card transaction processing result when the sales data are transmitted from a registration processing means. CONSTITUTION:When the sales data are transmitted from the registration processing means, the data necessary for the card transaction are inputted, based on the sales data from the registration processing means and the inputted data necessary for the card transaction, the card transaction processing is executed, and according to the contents of the card transaction processing result, the output destination of the processing result is selected. Further, based on the inputted data necessary for the card transaction, whether or not a shop card is used is discriminated, and when the shop card is used, without executing the said card transaction processing, the sales data and the data necessary for the card transaction are transmitted to the sales processing means. Thus, the connection destination of the processing result from a host computer can be arbitrarily designated. |
