PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolytic capacitor which enables reduction in combined resistance and impedance by winding separators consisting of viscose rayon between electrode foils around a capacitor element and enclosing such capacitor element in a case. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor element 2 is such composed that separators 5 are wound between an anode foil 3 and a cathode foil 4 which are formed of an aluminum foil whose surface area is expanded by etching, etc. The separator 5 is composed of a woven or non-woven fabric made of the long fiber consisting of viscose rayon whose average diameter is 20mum or less. 6 is a sealing member which is put on an opening of a case 1 after putting the capacitor element 2 in the case 1 and impregnating an electrolyte. In this way, the electrolytic capacitor does not arise problems such as short circuit between electrodes during a winding step and impedance can be reduced remarkably. |
