<p>The telescopic counterbalance device for up-and-over doors makes it possible to open such a door and keep it in the opened position. It comprises two tubular components (1, 10) engaged one into the other in an overlap zone (19) and containing a helical spring (30). The front zone (3) of one (1) of the components has a cross-section (4) which is not of revolution and co-operates with the corresponding cross-section (14) of the rear zone (26) of the other component, to allow sliding without any angular displacement about the axis. The front zone (3) of the inner component cannot pass through the front zone (20) of the outer component without the plastic deformation of at least one of the two as a result of the abutment effect. The invention is used for the doors of garages, workshops or the like. <IMAGE></p> |
