<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate stable and accurate transport of a bundle of extra-thin wires laid on a table without damaging or contaminating them and spacers, by performing transport while pinching them by a feed pawl, which moves in the directions vertically and fore and aft. CONSTITUTION:A bundle 2 of extra-thin wires 1 is laid on a table 15, and this bundle 2 and each spacer are at one side pinched by a feed pawl 16 moving in the directions vertically and fore and aft and transported in the horizontal direction, wherein a pin 18 is provided on the oversurface of a moving block 17 movable in the directions vertically and fore and aft in such a way as pinching the bundle 2 of wires and, also, another pin 19 is installed so as to pinch one side of each spacer 3 in cooperation with the first named pin 18. Then this feed pawl 16 is sunk and retracted to its original position, and transport of a brush element for sliding 4 is repeated interlocked with cutting and shaping of the bundle downstream 2. This eliminates necessity for clamping the bundle of extra-thin wires 1 and spacers. Thus stable and accurate transport is accomplished without causing damage or contamination.</p> |
