PURPOSE:To generate high-power signals having an excellent linearity and phase stability from a small-sized power amplifier by feeding back the output of the power amplifier to amplitude modulators after rectification by using two each of double-balanced mixers and comparators. CONSTITUTION:By feeding back the output of the power amplifier 11 to the amplitude modulators 3 and 5 after rectification by using two each of the double-balanced mixers 14 and 15 and comparators 20 and 21, the amplitude and phase distortion of the power amplifier 11 are automatically corrected. Therefore, high-power signals having an excellent linearity and phase stability can be generated from the small-sized power amplifier and the need of a large- sized power amplifier is eliminated. Thus a small-sized power amplifier having an excellent power efficiency and small constitution can be used for generating the high-power signals. |
