摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate positions at which it is impossible to detect output voltage difference because it is large depending upon the distance of a magnetic body, by arranging the central axis of a detecting coil so that it deviates from the central axis of an exciting coil along the direction of relative movement of a magnetic body. CONSTITUTION:A detector 1 is formed of an exciting coil 3 connected to an oscillator 2, which outputs alternating voltage, and a detecting coil 4 arranged in the proximity of the exciting coil 3 to detect a magnetic body of ferrite 5 and the like. The central axes C1, C2 of each coil 3, 4 are arranged so as to be parallel at a little interval along the moving direction X of the detector 1 and the magnetic body 5 and the position of the detecting coil 4 is that at which output voltage is a local minimum in the case where the detecting coil 4 is moved along the central axis C2 in the condition where the magnetic body 5 is far from the detector 1. Thus the output does not produce when the detector 1 is sufficiently separated from the magnetic body 5 and produces when the detector 1 and the magnetic substance approach each other.</p>
