PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and superior in durability by forming >=2 layers comprising a layer containing a specified bishydrazone compound and a layer containing a specified hydrazone compound. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body has the >=2 layers comprising the layer containing the bishydrazone compound represented by formula I and the layer containing the hydrazone compound represented by formula II, and this layer containing the compound of formula II is formed adjacently to an electric charge generating layer, and in formulae I and II, each of R<1>, R<2>, R<5>, and R<6> is alkyl or aralkyl, and each optionally same or different, R<1> and R<2> may form a heterocyclic ring, and R<5> and R<6> may form an N-containing heterocyclic ring; R<3> is H, alkyl, or the like; each of R<4> and R<7> is H, halogen, or the like, optionally same or different; and R<8> is same as R<1>, thus permitting both of sensitivity and durability to be enhanced. |
