1-Aminomethyl-3-(2,4-difluoro-3-chlorophenyl)-4-cyanopyrroles of the general formula (I) <IMAGE> in which R is as defined in the description, and their use in crop protection agents. Formula (I) provides a definition of the novel 1-aminomethyl-3-(2,4-difluoro-3-chlorophenyl)-4-cyano-pyrroles. They can be prepared by analogous processes, for example from 3-(2,4-difluoro-3-chlorophenyl)-4-cyano-pyrrole and formaldehyde and suitable amines, or from suitable 3-(2,4-difluoro-3-chlorophenyl)-4-cyano-pyrroles, which were hitherto unknown, with suitable amines. The starting pyrroles, which were also hitherto unknown, are obtained, for example, from 3-(2,4-difluoro-3-chlorophenyl)-4-cyano-pyrrole and formaldehyde, if appropriate in the presence of a diluent, if appropriate in the presence of a halogenating agent and if appropriate in the presence of an acid-binding agent. |
