<p>PURPOSE:To provide possibility of stacking exhaust sheets with their end faces in alignment by giving a certain stiffness to a sheet required for the leading edge to attain contacting an exhaust tray by the use of a simple device consisting of an exhaust roller and one or more fillers. CONSTITUTION:Spacing and the difference in outside dia. between a minor roller 9 and a major roller 10 are set so that a sheet of paper 5 is equipped with a trend of bending in such a degree not to damage the image on the sheet 5. This stiffness of sheet 5 which is not sufficient only with this trend of bend ing, i.e. the stiffness necessary until the leading edge comes in contact with the receipt plate 12b of the exhaust tray 12 is complemented by deflecting further a filler 13 with appropriate weight upon placing on the sheet 5. This allows stacking of the sheets 5 with their end faces in alignment even though the sheet 5 is rounded, too long, weak in stiffness, or too thin.</p> |
