PURPOSE:To lighten a burden on an operator and to promptly execute a transaction by holding data to designate a transaction picture in the magnetic stripes of a medium and providing a conversion table, in which the data and the picture number of the transaction picture are combined, for a memory. CONSTITUTION:When the operator inserts the medium received from a customer in trust into a medium processing part 3, a prescribed routine is executed, and the transaction picture written in the magnetic stripes of the medium is displayed on a display part 2. At the same time, the data of an account number, etc., read by a magnetic stripe R/W3b stored in a memory 5 are read by a main control part 6 and displayed on the display part 2. After that, the operator designates either a memory receiving or a money paying by operating a keyboard 1 and inputs a transaction amount. Further, the operator confirms the displayed transaction amount and items to be entered in a slip and presses a completion key. The transaction amount and customer data are inquired with the main control part 6 as a host, and the transaction data of the transaction amount, etc., are fetched from the memory 5 and transferred to the medium processing part 3 when an answer for the inquiry is received.
