Target practice system - using weapons with infra-red coded transmissions to indicate which target has been hit by which marksman

A target practice system, especially for training with firearms, uses weapons which are equipped with individually-coded infra-red transmitters, enabling hits on the targets (1) to be displayed immediately on an indicator panel (2). Regardless of which target is hit by a shooter (A, B, C), the indicator panel will show the number of hits made on the targets by each shooter individually.
