PURPOSE:To easily obtain the subject fiber having hollow ratio, by carrying out the composite melt-spinning of a polyethylene terephthalate polymer and a polyester polymer having low melting or softening point through a nozzle having a slit of a specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber having a fineness of 1-2 denier and a hollow ratio of >=5% is produced by the sheath-core composite melt-spinning of a polyethylene terephthalate polymer and a polyester polymer having low melting or softening point through a nozzle consisting of a slit 4 having a specific width D and composed of 2-6 circular parts arranged on a circle interposing a specific gap W between the parts and leg parts 5 having a prescribed length l, attached to the opposite ends of the circular parts and parallelly extended outward from the center 0 of the circle. |
