PURPOSE:To improve the emulsified state of an emulsified compsn. and the stability over a long period by blending an adduct of polyoxyethylene to >=22C higher alcohol with lower alcohol and an oil component to prepare the emulsified compsn. CONSTITUTION:The adduct of polyoxyethylene to >=22C higher alcohol is blended with lower alcohol and the oil component or further blended with additives such as a thickener, an org. pigment and a fungicide to prepare an emulsified compsn. the higher alcohol may be behenyl alcohol or carnaubyl alcohol and about 1-30mol polyoxyethylene is preferably added to the higher alcohol. The lower alcohol is <=5C alcohol and the pref. amt. of the lower alcohol used is 5-40wt.%. The oil component may be selected among fats, oils, waxes and hydrocarbons and the pref. amt. of the oil component used is 0.5-80wt.%. |
