发明名称 INKJET PRINTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid defective printing, by drilling in a film, holes of the size not larger than a thermal element of a head and with the density exceeding the arranging density of thermal elements, and liquefying and flying ink filled in said holes of said film, said ink being solid under an ordinary temperature and liquefied at a temperature higher than the ordinary temperature. CONSTITUTION:An inkjet head 1 is provided not only with a printing heater 2, but with preheaters 3 at opposite sides of the heater 2. An ink ribbon 4 is, while it is being pressed against the inkjet head 1, moved relative to the head. The ribbon 4 is formed with holes of the size at least not smaller than a thermal element of the head 1. The density of the holes is set not less than the arranging density of the thermal elements. Ink which has the melting point higher than the ordinary temperature is filled in the holes of the ink ribbon 4. When the ink ribbon 4 is heated by the preheaters 3, the ink which is filled in the holes of the ribbon and solid at the ordinary temperature is liquefied. In this state, printing signals are transmitted to the inkjet head 1 to heat the printing heater 2, whereby the liquefied ink is made flying by the pressure of generated bubbles, to be adhered to a printing paper and, cooled and solidified.
