<p>PURPOSE: To remarkably decrease oxides in a coating by providing the apparatus with an ultrasonic thermal spraying device or the like which supplies axially pulverulent body into the combustion gas stream in an injection pipe and accelerates the pulverulent body discharged from the hole part of the injection pipe to an ultrasonic velocity. CONSTITUTION: The discharge gas of a high temp. emitted from an internal combustion chamber 62 is introduced to the inner end side of the injection pipe 67, in other word, to the throat part of the gradually decreasing section of the injection pipe 67. A supply port 71 is allowed to communicate with the injection pipe 67 by a central passage and the pulverulent body or metallic powder 72 is concentrically introduced into the column of the exhaust gas 73 flowing along the cylindrical passage 74 of the injection pipe by the nitrogen or other inert gas introduced from the supply port 71. The inert gas introduced into a manifold 11 is discharged through a plurality of nozzles 32 and is ejected out of the outer end of the injection pipe 67 and forms a spiral swirling gas shield around the central nucleus of the exhaust jet including the pulverulent body of the high velocity.</p> |
