PURPOSE:To obtain the subject small-sized device,capable of conveying a roving bobbin by a bobbin carrier along the peripheral side of a rotating drum brush and scraping off the residual roving from brush bristles while rotating a comb wheel at a higher peripheral speed of the rotating drum brush and excellent in residual roving removing effects. CONSTITUTION:A roving bobbin (B) is conveyed by a bobbin carrier 20 along the peripheral side of a rotating drum brush 11 to remove residual roving on the roving bobbin with brush bristles (11d). A comb wheel 12 is rotated at a higher peripheral speed than that of the rotating drum brush to scrape off the residual roving sticking to the brush bristles. |
