PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for varying programs in response to the varieties of drive systems by setting te speed of revolution of an engine, where the interruption of fuel is started or completed, as a function of car speed. CONSTITUTION:The speed of revolution N of an engine is detected from an input from a rotation-angle sensor at a step 53, the formation of a formula N>=Na (Na: minimum engine revolution-speed) is discriminated, the step advances to a step 56 and fuel is interrupted when the formula N>=Na is formed, and the step advances to a step 54 when a formula N<Na is formed. The interruption of fuel at present is discriminated at the step 54, the step advances to a step 55 when the result of discrimination is positive, and the step advances to a step 57 and fuel is supplied when the result is negative. The formation of a formula N<=Nb is discriminated at the step 55, the step advances to the step 56 and fuel is interrupted when the result of discrimination is negative, and the step advances to the step 57 and fuel is supplied when the result is positive. Accordingly, the interruption of fuel is started when the engine is brought to a deceleration state when the formula N>=Na is formed in the speed of revolution N of the engine, and the interruption of fuel is completed and the supply of fuel is restarted when the speed of revolution N of the engine reduces up to Nb. |
