The process is intended for automatic, continuous manufacture of office forms with separable sheets. It uses two thin support strips (1a) with transverse fold lines on reverse sides. The strips are pulled by a grip (8), together with the form sheet from a pile bottom. Tension is applied by passing the assembly over rollers (15). The applied tension, together with heat application, provides the adhesion of the assembly, which is then folded along the prepared fold lines. The assembly is finally extracted in the form of concertina type folds. The process uses variable speed, and the support strips are wound on bobbins to give a constant tension.
