PURPOSE:To prevent breakage and peeling off in a drying process by forming a porous carbon body of a nonaqueous solvent battery having a positive electrode comprising the porous carbon body and a metallic current collector with a mixed molding of specific carbon black and oil furnace carbon black. CONSTITUTION:In a nonaqueous solvent battery having a positive electrode 3 comprising a porous carbon body 3a and a metallic current collector 3b, the porous carbon body 3a consists of a mixed molding of carbon black in which graphite layer spacing doo2 specified at No.117 Commity of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science is 3.50-3.70Angstrom , specific surface area measured by the BET method is 700-1300m<2>/g, and DBP oil absorption specified in JIS is 300-500ml/100g and oil furnace carbon black in which doo2 is 7.40-3.48Angstrom , specific surface area is 90-150m<2>/g and DBP oil absorption is 300-360ml/100g. The shrinkage, expansion, and structure damage of the positive electrode in a drying process is remarkably reduced. |
