COOLING DEVICE OF SMALL-SIZED ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to cool and optional circuit substrate without decreasing the cooling efficiency of other components, by providing air holes to a decorative sheet which is installed to the optionally mounting window of an enclosure. CONSTITUTION:An optionally mounting window 1a is formed in a position corresponding to an option rack at the rear face of an enclosure 1 and an option circuit substrate 8 is inserted into the option rack from the optional mounting window 1a and is connected to an expansion slot. A decorative sheet 10 where air holes 10a are made is connected to the back end of the option circuit substrate 8. The decorative sheet 10 is fixed to the frame of the window withscrews so that it closes a region corresponding to the optionally mounting window 1a in a state that the option circuit substrate 8 is housed in the option rack and is connected to the expansion slot. The cooling air cooling a power source and the like is inhaled from air holes 1c and is exhausted from an exhaust fan 2. As the parts of the optionally mounting window 1a corresponding to regions to which the option circuit substrates 8 are not mounted are closed by decorative sheets 3b and 3c which are lacking in the air holes, no such a waste cooling air is inhaled to pass through without stopping.
