PURPOSE:To obtain a battery having long charge-discharge cycle life, large capacity, and high output by combining aluminium as a negative main active material and a conductive polymer as a positive main active material with a mixed electrolyte of AlCl3 and 1,2,3-trialkyl imidazolium halide. CONSTITUTION:A molten salt which is a liquid at normal temperature obtained by mixing AlCl3 and 1,2,3-trialkyl imidazolium halide is used as an electrolyte, metallic aluminium as a negative main active material, and a conductive polymer as a positive main active material. As the conductive polymer, polyaniline or polycarbazol prepared by electrolytic polymerization or chemical polymerization is used. The polymer film prepared by electrolytic or chemical polymerization, or the molding of the polymer powder molded on a current collector is used. A secondary battery having long charge-discharge cycle life, large capacity, and high output is obtained. |
