SYSTEM FOR FORMING COLOR LOOK UP TABLE

PURPOSE:To apply a more natural feeling to a three dimensional display by properly setting one dimensional look up table and executing a shading processing coinciding with an actually viewed matter. CONSTITUTION:A LUT forming means 12 constituted as the program of a host computer forms the color look up table 21. A three-vertex color information calculating means 13a in an index value calculating means 13 obtains the color information of the three vertexes of a micro triangle from a graphic information designating means 11 according to a shading model considering a reflected light component and the index values of the three vertexes are outputted from a three vertex value calculating means 13b. An interpolating means 22a obtains the index values of respective points in the micro triangle according to an interpolating processing and a display control means 22b reads the color information corresponding to this index value from the color look up table 21 and supplies to a display device 24.
