PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption at the time of putting one light by connecting two resistances which have necessary resistance values between control terminals whose grounding is controlled by a power source and a switching element in series, and driving a LED through the resistance connection point. CONSTITUTION:The switching element Q is turned on and off through a NAND gate G according to control inputs I1 and I2 to a control IC 1 to control the grounding connection of a control terminal, thereby controlling the on-off state of the LED 2. The two resistances R1 and R2 are connected in series between the terminal T and power source +B, and the resistance values of the resistances R1 and R2 are so selected that no turning-on current flows through the connection point C between both resistances when the terminal is grounded and the LED does not light. In this constitution a current ION which flows to the ground when the LED 2 is turned off is smaller than when the resistance R2 is not connected, and the current consumption in a stand-by state is reduced. |
