PURPOSE:To inhibit the lowering of starting torque and mean torque, and to suppress a torque ripple by installing a compensating coil surrounding a phase detecting element and conducting armature currents having the phase, which is subjected to an effect mostly, of a position sensing element through the compensating coil. CONSTITUTION:A compensating coil 9 surrounding a Hall element 8 is mounted onto a printed board 10. Compensating magnetomotive force sufficient for generating magnetic flux, magnitude of which is equalized to Hall-element passing flux as much as possible and the direction of which is opposed to the Hall- element passing flux, is applied to the compensating coil 9. Accordingly, the proper quantity of armature currents having phase exerting a maximum effect on Hall-element passing flux in each phase of an armature for a brushless motor is conducted through the compensating coil 9. |
