<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a video tape recorder capable of complex retrieval by superposing a code signal to a control signal to be recorded and making recording levels of a control pulse and a superposing signal pulse differ from each other. CONSTITUTION:A pulse of the control signal for controlling a tape speed and a rotary magnetic head and a pulse train converted of the code information to be recorded by an FM or an MFM are added up at their different levels by a linear type adder 12, and an added output is amplified by an amplifier 11 and given to a magnetic head 10 to be recorded in a control track of the tape. At the time of reproducing, the recorded signal in the control track is obtained from the same magnetic head 10 to be inputted via an amplifier 13 to a limiter 14. A small level signal and a large level signal are separated from a regenerative signal of the head 10 by the limiter 14, whereas the large level one is the control signal. By this constitution, a large quantity of the code information can be recorded in the control track so that a code for explaining the contents of a tape, retrieval information and a key word, etc., can be stored with an animation.</p> |
