PURPOSE:To prevent destruction of a horizontal output transistor(TR) if an abnormal input signal is applied to the horizontal output TR by stopping the operation of the horizontal output TR in a horizontal output circuit for a time when a power voltage of the horizontal oscillation circuit reaches a prescribed value in application of power. CONSTITUTION:A detection circuit detecting the rise in a power voltage and a control circuit 17 inhibiting the operation of the horizontal output TR 5 in the horizontal output circuit are provided in the horizontal deflection circuit. In case of application of power to the horizontal deflection circuit, the horizontal output TR 5 is not operated till each circuit except the horizontal output circuit incorporating the horizontal output TR 5 at application of power of the horizontal deflection circuit is not transited to the normal operation attended with the rise in the power voltage. Thus, application of an abnormal horizontal synchronizing signal to the horizontal output TR 5 is prevented. |
