PURPOSE:To simplify the input of data by performing the simulation of a carrier request based on a normal random number as long as the ratio between the standard deviation of the generating intervals of carrier requests and the average value is kept constant in a certain system. CONSTITUTION:A simulation device which produces a carrier request based on a normal distribution consists of a mini-computer 1, a keyboard 2, a display 3, a floppy disk device 4, and a printer 5. The simulation of the carrier request is carried out with the input of an average carrier request interval (mij) and the input of a confusion degree variable (a) set properly by the experience. At the same time, the repetition control variables (i) and (j) are set for generation of a normal random number and a carrier request generating interval (xij) is calculated and recorded. Then the integrated value of said generating intervals is calculated and compared with the estimated simulation time. Thus the carrier simulation is carried out at the estimated simulation time point with the arrangement of said recorded interval (xij) defined as the due interval. In this case, the variable (a) is equal to the ratio between the standard deviation of each carrier request and the average value. |
