<p>PURPOSE:To drive a thermosensitive head having arbitrary number of data by providing a data conversion circuit consisting of four decoder circuits and a 4-input/1-output selector to switch the output of a serial access memory SAM in a dual port memory by the decoded output of the circuits. CONSTITUTION:An address control circuit 12 transfers each image data having respective gradation to the dual port memory 21 as the address of the dual port memory 21. A data count circuit 13 sends a serial ck106 to the SAM in the dual port memory 21 by receiving a one-line start signal from a system controller 3. According to the above operation, data of first gradation is divided into four in a unit of 256 dots, and sent from the SAM in the dual port memory 21 to the data conversion circuit 10. The data conversion circuit 10 switches the data from the dual port memory 21 in the unit of 256 dots by a data count signal from the data count circuit 13, and sends it to an EX-OR11 as serial data.</p> |
