<p>PURPOSE:To cause a magnetic tape to run following a VTR and DAT by controlling the rotational speed of a cylinder fitted with rotary heads so that the relative speed between the running speed of the tape and rotational speed of the cylinder can become nearly constant on the basis of tape speed information. CONSTITUTION:The time code (TC) reproducing speeds of a VTR 1 and DAT 6 are made coincident with each other by controlling the running of a tape 15 coincidentally with the running mode of the VTR 1 and the speed of the tape 15 in corresponding to the measurement information of a TC period measurement circuit 7 which measures the one unit period of the TC reproduced by the VTR 1. Moreover, the rotational speed of a cylinder fitted with rotary heads 12 and 13 is controlled so that the relative speed between the speed of the tape 15 of the DAT 6 and the rotational speed of the cylinder 11 can become nearly constant. Then the TC signals recorded in sub-code areas on diagonal tracks are reproduced. Therefore, the tape can be run following the VTR and DAT.</p> |
