PURPOSE: To produce a negative copy from the copying layer of a copying material having positive action by using a specific photosensitive compsn. contg. a photosensitive mixture insoluble to water but soluble to an alkaline aq. soln. and a specified thermosetting accelerating compd. CONSTITUTION: A thermosetting accelerating compd. represented by formula I is incorporated into a photosensitive compsn. contg. a binder insoluble in water but soluble in an alkaline aq. soln. and 1,2-quinone diazide or a compd. releasing an acid at the time of exposure and a compd. having at least one acid-decomposable C-C-C group to obtain the objective photosensitive compsn. In the formula, R1 is alkyl or aryl and R2 is alkoxy, aryloxy or amino having two alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl substituents. This compsn. is used for producing a negative copy from the copying layer of a copying material having positive action.
