PURPOSE:To write a bar code while the forming action of an original image is performed by cutting off light made to incident on an image carrier by a shutter means and writing the bar code on the part where the light is cut off. CONSTITUTION:Near a photosensitive drum 10, a writing unit 71 is provided whose width is smaller than the half of the maximum copying width of the photosensitive drum 10. Required information is written as well as the original image by means of the unit 71. A shutter 71f is provided on the side surface part of the unit 71 and inserted into incident light Bi so that one part of the incident light Bi is cut off and information is written on the part where the light is cut off. A controlling part is provided with a bar code generator, whereby the bar code can be written in the original image while the copying action of the original image is performed. Therefore, for example, the required information recorded with the bar code while an original is copied can be useful at the time of the management, etc., of papers. |
