The invention relates to an attachment for joining the snells 20 fitted with hooks to the main carrying line 5 of a trawl line. The said attachment comprises a body 1 which can be fixed to the line 5 and which has a peripheral groove in which is rotationally housed an opening annular piece 11 extended by an appendage 12 intended to be associated with a linkage element 22 to which the snell 20 is fixed, this association making possible rotation of the snell around its axis. A cylindrical sleeve 15 is mounted so as to slide and rotate on the said appendage 12 in order to allow locking of the annular piece 11 in the closed position, and coupling to the said appendage of the linkage element 22. The attachment can rotate with respect to the carrying line and allows rotation of the snell, which is interchangeable. <IMAGE>
