PURPOSE:To provide a mixer which can mix fine particles uniformly to liquid having a relatively high viscosity, by mounting plural vertical vane plates and >=1 stage of impellers which sandwich the same from above and below and consist of two sheets of horizontal discs to a revolving shaft and making combination use of agitating media. CONSTITUTION:Impellers consisting of plural sheets of vane plates 22 and vertical discs 21, 23 which sandwich both ends of said plates and are perpendicular to the revolving shaft 12 of a cylindrical mixing tank 4 are mounted in >=1 stage to the shaft 12. The holed disc 23 which is one of the above-mentioned discs is opened 24 near the shaft 12 and is formed to a smaller diameter than the diameter of the other solid disc 21. A crude liquid mixture 2 is pumped 3 from a crude mixer 1 into the bottom part 10 of the tank 4 which is constituted in the above-mentioned way. Agitating media 5 are added therein through a supply port 27 and the shaft 12 is revolved. The liquid is agitated between the inside wall 26 of the mixing tank and te plates 22, and moves upward while circulating between the opening 24 and spaces 25. The media 5 are separated by a screen 7 and the thorouhly mixed and threated liquid 8 is obtained. |
