POWER UNIT MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To improve a movement characteristic by mounting a power unit at the front part of a vehicle by locating the center of gravity at the rear part in the traveling direction to the driving shaft extending to the right and left front wheel side from a differential device and arranging a steering gear box at the front part along the traveling direction to the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A power unit P is mounted at the vehicle front part by locating its center of gravity at the rear part along the vehicle traveling direction 6 for the driving shaft 5 extending to the right and left parts from a differential device 4. A steering gear box 19 is arranged at the front side along the traveling direction 6 and in parallel to the driving shaft 5. By this structure the uniformity in the load distribution to the front and back wheels can be improved and the movement characteristic can be improved.
