PURPOSE:To detect the quantity of harmful ultraviolet rays contained in the sunlight according to the skin of a user by providing ultraviolet-ray transmission filters for long waves and short waves. CONSTITUTION:A threshold value corresponding to the skin of the user is set 15 first. In this state, when a solar battery 1 receives the sunlight in this state, an ultraviolet-ray A wave (long wave) in the sunlight is transmitted through an A-wave transmission filter 7 to reach one aluminum electrode 5 through a transparent electrode 3 and an a-Si pin layer 4, and an electromotive force corresponding to the A wave is generated 5. Further, a B wave which is trans mitted through the B-wave (short wave) transmission filter 8 reaches the other aluminum electrode 6 through a transparent electrode 3 and the layer 4 and an electromotive force corresponding to the B wave is generated 6. Then the electromotive force is signal-processed 10 and outputted to a microprocessor 13. The processor 13 performs arithmetic operation according to the input signal and calculates the quantities of ultraviolet-ray energy corresponding to the A wave and B wave and compares it with the threshold value. When one calcu lated value reaches the threshold value, the processor 13 outputs a warning signal to a display part 16 and an alarm 17. |
