PURPOSE:To obtain a preferable squirrel-cage rotor by constructing to cast to the state that a gap between the outer peripheral end of a rotor core at a molten metal down-gate side and the inner peripheral surface of the case die opposed to the core is clamped, thereby eliminating the leakage of cast material. CONSTITUTION:A projection is formed at the circular range of a cavity 10 formed in a stational die 1 except the part facing a molten metal gate of the outer periphery. A recess is formed at the part corresponding to the projection formed on the die 1 at an intermediate die 2. The outer peripheral end of the molten metal down-gate of the rotor core 9 is tightly engaged in the clamped state at the bore of the projection formed on the outer periphery of the cavity of the die 1 and the bore except the recess formed at the die 2. |
