PURPOSE:To read and display film information in a viewfinder, etc., by reading the position correspondence between parts located between teeth of a sprocket, etc., and holes for information made at interval parts of perforations of a film. CONSTITUTION:When a hole 1b for information between perforations 1a or a hold 1c for indicating a starting position meets a tooth root part 3c of the sprocket 3 during the movement of the film 1, the output of a photodetecting element 6 which receives light from a light emitting element 5 increases. On the other hand, photodetecting and light emitting elements 8 and 7 are provided as an information reading means for detecting the movement of lower perforations 1a of the film 1 and when light from the light emitting element 7 illuminantes a tooth root part of the sprocket 3, the output of the photodetecting element 8 increases. The outputs of the photodetecting elements 6 and 8 are processed by an information reading circuit, and consequently information on, for example, a film speed is displayed on a display part in the viewfinder, etc. |
