PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive crusher for application on cells, etc., ready to change crushing conditions, so designed that plural (two) cylindrical rolls are faced each other with a narrow gap or contact and set up with a relative speed, being fitted on respective shafts each of which is supported by a bearing through air. CONSTITUTION:Plural cylindrical rolles, a large-sized roll 5 and a small sized roll 5' are faced with each other with a narrow gap or contact. In order to ensure the relative circumferential speed between said rolls 5 and 5', each of these rolls is fixed on a main shaft 8 and supported by a journal bearing 6 and thrust bearing 7, which are, in turn, supported by a bearing through air. Using a crusher constructed as the above, calls 9 are passed through between the two rolls 5, 5' and crushed in high efficiency.
