摘要 |
PURPOSE:To perform matte printing imparting no gloss, by a method wherein heat- meltable ink has specific bonding strength between said ink and a base material at the time of heating and generates flocculative destruction at a time when a thermal transfer recording sheet and image receiving paper are released after thermal transfer. CONSTITUTION:At a time when a thermal transfer recording sheet and image receiving paper are released after thermal printing, perfect release between the surface of the base material of the thermal transfer recording sheet and the heat-meltable ink thereof is not generated and the heat-meltable ink itself is flocculated and destructed to from a matte state wherein the surface of a transferred printed image is destructed and released. Herein, the destructive release generated between the thermal transfer recording sheet and the image receiving paper depends on the bonding strength between the base material and the heat-meltable ink and this bonding strength is expressed as g/25mm according to a measuring method based on the 180 deg. release bonding strength test method prescribed in JISK 6854. When the heat-meltable ink in the thermal transfer recording sheet has a bonding strength value of 50-500g/25mm between said ink and the base material at the time of heating by this test method, matte printing imparting no gloss can be applied. |
