<p>A method for cutting stems or spears of plants, wherein the stems or spears of plants are cut by two sets of blades being moved in relation to each other. The improvement is in that the relative motion of the two sets of blades resulting in cutting the stems or spears of stems is a continuous translatory or rotational motion. An apparatus for cutting stems or spears of plants, wherein two sets of blades being moved in relation to each other are provided. The improvement is in that at least one of the two sets of blades (1, 2; 12, 13) is connected to a drive causing a continuous translatory or rotational relative motion of the two sets of blades (1, 2; 12, 13).</p> |
