An electro-precipitator collector assembly comprises a plurality of spaced collector electrodes 12 each of which is secured to a collector electrode support member 14 from which it extends downwardly, adjacent support members 14 being connected together by bracing means 16 comprising two outer tubular members 20, 22 one secured to each support member 14 and an inner tubular member 24, the three tubular members being connected together by means of a threaded rod 28 and nuts 30. As shown girder members 18 are connected to the support members 14 and are provided with anvils 40 which receive blows by tapping mechanism (not shown) to dislodge precipitated dust. |
