The invention relates to a printing plate for electrophotographic plate production, having a photoconductive layer on an electroconductive support (carrier, base, substrate). The photoconductive layer contains a photoconductive organic compound and a binder resin containing a copolymer containing units of an acrylic ester (acrylate) or methacrylic ester (methacrylate) having an aromatic ring, and units of a polymerisable vinyl monomer having 1 to 3 acidic functional groups.
