<p>For the purpose of preventing rodents, such as rats, entering dwelling houses and like buildings through the sewage pipes of such buildings a rodent barrier (4) is installed in a sewage pipe (1). The barrier comprises a frame structure (5) which is anchored in a pipe joint and from which there extends a wire cone (6), which tapers in the direction of sewage flow. The apex angle of the cone will vary with varying pipe diameters and the wires or rods forming the cone (6) will also vary in length and in gauge accordingly.</p> |
