PURPOSE:To obtain an in-mold decorated molded piece in which air pores for preliminarily molding a laminated decoration sheet are not presented even if a desired design is imparted by discharging sucked air through the porous cavity wall of the female mold of injection metal molds when the sheet is disposed in the female mold of injection metal molds and preliminarily molded by vacuum molding. CONSTITUTION:At least part of cavity wall of female mold 2B of injection metal molds 2 having a male mold 2A and the mold 2B is composed of a porous electroformed piece 22. The back of the cavity wall of the piece 22 is connected to a vacuum source through a discharge hole 21. A laminated decoration sheet 1A having an arbitrary picture pattern is vacuum molded by utilizing the mold 2B to be preliminarily molded to obtain a preliminary molded piece 1B of the sheet. The piece 1B is placed in the molds 2A and 2B, the molds are clamped to injection mold synthetic resin of the piece 1B, a base material film is removed as required, and a molded piece 3 integral with the picture pattern is obtained. |
